What we Value

Safety

All users must log in using their UC Davis email. We also recommend adding social media handles to your profile to help provide an additional method of verification and communication. Although we’ve incorporated student authentication, please find rides at your own risk.

Affordability

Our platform is designed as an affordable option for students traveling to and from Davis. We encourage drivers to consider this as a cost-sharing endeavor rather than a profit-making initiative.

Sustainability

Reduce environmental pollution by sharing a ride home. Studies show that carpooling is associated with a) reduced energy consumption and emissions b) congestion mitigation and c) reduced parking infrastructure demand.

How it Started

Our team—a group of international and in state students—wanted a better transportation method for visiting home from Davis. Frustrated by the pricing and inconvenience of the Amtrak, buses, shuttles, or Uber, we embarked on a mission to create a ridesharing platform tailor-made for the UC Davis community.
